My name is Traci Christenson, and for those of you who don’t know me, I sold real estate in Edmonton for over 10 years. Even though I enjoyed great success selling mostly condos, it was time for a change for me. Although selling real estate wasn't for me anymore, the thought of giving up my license almost made me sick to my stomach... that and leaving my loyal clients with no one to take care of their real estate needs.

So, upon much reflection, I decided to open a new real estate brokerage, Agent Referrals International. “Agent Referrals” because I could keep in contact with my past clients and refer them to an outstanding REALTOR® of my choice and “International” because I could refer my clients globally if needed. After selling real estate for over ten years, I knew those REALTORS® I could confidently refer my past clients to.

Realizing that there were probably a lot of other real estate agents in the same boat as me, I decided I wanted to help those people too. $1 per day for our brokerage fee and dropping MLS® makes it affordable. We don’t need the real estate board in order to refer past clients to outstanding REALTORS®. Because we’re licensed with the provincial council, we can earn referral fees legally and ARI has the necessary forms available to protect you for your referral fees.

So whether you’re retiring or going back to being employed full-time, why not retain your real estate license and receive referral fees? If you know someone who is relocating, refer them to an Outstanding REALTOR® that you know, or if you don’t know one for a specific area, we’ll find one for you. You’ll have the freedom to go back to full-time MLS® real estate at anytime. Obtaining a real estate license is getting harder and more expensive year after year.
